Ubisoft May Switch To A Single Game Model That Is Constantly Updated With Assassin’s Creed Infinity

Ubisoft is working on a game called Assassin’s Creed Infinity focused on Live Service.

Ubisoft, which appeared last year with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which deals with the Viking era, is preparing to come up with a very different game this year. According to the news of Jason Schreier, one of the trusted names in the gaming industry, Ubisoft is working on the Live Service game codenamed Assassin’s Creed Infinity.

It is stated that the game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec studios will not be the new main game of the series, but will be a Live Service game that can be played for many years, just like GTA Online. It is not known when this Live Service game, which was also confirmed by Ubisoft, will be released.

However, Jason Schreier states that the game has just begun to be developed and will not be released before 2024. At the same time, the Bloomberg writer, who shared some information about the game Ubisoft is working on, with the players, states that the game will not pass in a single period. Stating that the game will be constantly updated in this direction, Schreier especially underlines that different historical periods will take place in the game, but that these periods will be interconnected and the game will continue the story.

As you may remember, Jason Schreier made similar statements for GTA 6 recently. Expressing that the game will have a constantly changing map structure, the editor stated that the game will be constantly updated.

After all this, we see that a similar style will be adopted by Ubisoft. As you know, although the recently released Assassin’s Creed games come to the fore with their huge maps, they received negative marks from the players due to the constantly repetitive mission structure. Aiming to reverse this situation with Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the developer studio is preparing to come up with a game that is constantly updated and hosts many historical periods.
