Supply Problem in Computer Hardware Market May Resolve

According to JPR, the supply shortage in PC gaming hardware will be resolved in the coming period. Stocks will get better and therefore prices will also be positively affected.

Especially technology enthusiasts in our country complain about not being able to reach the products due to many reasons. These reasons include the pandemic process, shipping issues, stock issues, and most importantly, prices. However, if we look at the many different news in the last period, the developments are positive.

Hardware researcher Jon Peddie Research (JPR) has published its gaming hardware market research covering computers, components and peripherals. The computer hardware market has both improved and suffered over the past year. There are developments in financial terms, but many consumers did not find what they expected. As a matter of fact, people could not find the products they were looking for and were faced with extremely high prices.

One of the reasons hardware manufacturers were unable to supply enough devices to meet demand was that they were not operating at full capacity and were cautious about stocks.

JPR analysts say it has adopted new business strategies to meet demand for its products and avoid spikes in prices. As a result, product inventory and sales are expected to increase significantly in the coming period. “Suppressed demand from abnormally high prices will be met in the coming years,” says JPR President Jon Peddie.

JPR predicts PC gaming hardware sales to hit $33 billion in 2021 despite demand being unmet. In 2020, the total volume was at the level of 22 billion.

If we recall the statements of the AMD CEO, he said that by the end of the year, chip supply problems will decrease. However, a different study showed that the prices of memory used in many components will gradually return to normal. JPR’s overall survey also yielded positive results. In other words, towards the end of 2021, it seems that consumers will face a better picture.
