Apple Unleashed Event Date Announced
The new MacBook Pro and Mac Mini models with M1X processors are expected to be introduced at the Unleashed event on October 18.
Apple is getting ready to host a new event on Monday, October 18, after numerous rumors about Mac computers have surfaced. Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, signaled that we may see new and more powerful processors at the event called “Unleashed”.
Rumors continue to come about 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with the new “M1X” chip replacing the existing Apple M1 SoC. However, it is said to adopt a new industrial design similar to the iPhone 13, eliminating the touch bar and adding more ports, including HDMI and an SD card slot.
On the other hand, there were reports that Apple is considering models with mini LED displays. However, it is said that problems in the supply chain may have disrupted these plans.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro using Intel processors has not been updated since the announcement two years ago. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg points out that these computers are not available in many Apple stores.
Additionally, the Apple M1X chip is expected to be used in a refurbished Mac Mini. Both the MacBook Pro and Mac Mini still use Intel processors for high-end models. For this reason, Apple aims to use ARM chips in more of its devices in order to completely get rid of Intel chips.
Finally, there are those who expect the third-generation AirPods to be introduced at the upcoming event. The event, which will be held on October 18 at 20:00 Turkish time, will be broadcast live on YouTube.
